The First Appointment
Making the decision to begin therapy is an important one. Most people want to have a sense of what they can expect from the process before they get started. In our first session, we begin to get to know each other. We spend much of our time together talking about what is bringing you into therapy and what you are hoping to get out of the therapy process. Your goals direct the work we do together. If at the end of this initial session you feel we would be a good fit to continue working together, we set up a follow up appointment and continue from there.
